Description

Learn how to use your digital camera on our night photography courses in Melbourne. We’ll teach you exactly how to create light trails and paint with light using long exposures and your tripod! Aimed at beginners, travellers and explorers, our professional photography mentors will help you improve your photography skills instantly! See Melbourne’s best hidden and iconic photographic hot spots including our secret night photography rooftop and the most beautiful bridge in Melbourne. Learn about manual mode and controlling the light. The true value of this night photography course comes from the immediate feedback you will receive from your photography mentor about your own photographs. When you have an expert right by your side you can learn without frustration!

Have you ever wondered why your photographs appear too dark or too bright in automatic mode? This is because your camera is “metering” the light without understanding what YOU want to do with the photograph. It makes a mathematic calculation and acts on that. On our photography courses in Melbourne you’ll learn about finding the best light and how to control it so you can see how it changes the look of your images. No more blurry photographs or missing that gorgeous sunset. More importantly, you’ll learn how to use your digital camera in manual mode. Over time we’ve refined our manual mode teaching philosophy again and again. In fact its simplicity is something we’re quite proud of. You’ll learn about shutter speed, aperture, ISO and controlling the light with your camera. Our photography courses in Melbourne are constantly evolving as we discover new hidden photographic hot spots in Melbourne, join us and capture your own unique photographs!

MABEL

22 November 2018 • Night Photography Course Melbourne.

After the initial late start due to a mix-up with the booking system, Daniel more than made up for it with his contagious enthusiasm and approachability during my one-on-one informative session with him. Learning about long exposures and light painting was so cool and a whole lot of fun! I highly recommend this course and if you’re lucky enough to have Daniel as your mentor, you will enjoy and not regret it!

My course was one on one with Daniel and I learnt more than I have over the last year compared to 2 hours on this course. I had a great time learning about long exposures and night photography with my Canon 750D.

haha glad to hear it Arlo!!!! I don't mean to sound braggadocios (is that a word?!) but many of my students say this! It's all about HOW the information is delivered in response to your learning type. I take the time to observe how you're learning in order to teach you more effectively! I call it intuitive teaching :) Thanks again for the review my friend!
